Ledgent Finance & Accounting is currently seeking a detail-oriented Construction Bookkeeper for a reputable client in the construction industry. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering a competitive hourly rate of $35-$38/hr, based on experience.
Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable
Process job costing and expense tracking
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements
Maintain and update the general ledger
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting
Track subcontractor compliance (W-9s, insurance certs, lien releases)
Assist with payroll processing and certified payroll reports as needed
Communicate with project managers and vendors to ensure accuracy
3+ years of bookkeeping experience in the construction industry
Proficient with QuickBooks Desktop or other construction-specific ERP systems
Strong knowledge of job costing, billing, and vendor management
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $35-$38/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
